Can walleye fishing get any better on Lake Erie? Ohio Outdoor News asked an expert

Walleye fishing, according to Ohio DNR Division of Wildlife Lake Erie Administrator Travis Hartman, has never been better through the lake’s history. The good fishing should continue for some time, he says. (Stock photo)

Lake Erie’s incredible walleye fishery at the present time is well-documented. The real question is: Can it get any better?
To answer that query, Ohio Outdoor News turned to Travis Hartman, the Ohio DNR Division of Wildlife’s Lake Erie program administrator.
“I think the data would suggest that (walleye fishing) has never been better,” Hartman said.
