There have been quite a few legislative proposals regarding hunting recently in Pennsylvania, and a lot of them don’t make sense.
A bill in the House would create a hunting and trapping education program in schools, even though there’s already legislation in place allowing the state Game Commission to hold hunter-ed courses in school facilities. And in the state Senate, a legislator announced his intention to introduce a bill to create a $30, three-day deer hunting license for nonresidents.
