Glenn Sapir: Family plaque honors anglers past and present

Several plaques adorn the walls of my home office. They are all significant to me for what they represent, but none is more meaningful – or more fleeting – than the one that I might have had to relinquish by the time you read these words.
Our annual family fishing trip has always been a full experience – bonding, fishing action, food and drink, poker and more. As the gatherings evolved, a bit of competitive spirit emerged as another element.
