Bait shop owners and license agents in Minnesota are preparing for a June 9 release of the new Electronic Licensing System, but some retailers had criticisms of equipment costs following recent training webinars.
During the webinars, DNR staff and ELS partners demonstrated how the system works and answered questions from the retailers. There are about 1,500 license agents statewide.
