Odd couple: Big bowfins, bullheads in northwest Wisconsin’s St. Croix Flowage

The chances of anglers intentionally seeking out truly big bowfins and bullheads are mighty slim, but for the handful of record-book seekers out there, the Douglas County’s St. Croix Flowage might just be the place that can get their name on the cover of the – no, not the Rolling Stone – but, sure, the cover of the Wisconsin Outdoor News, and maybe the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward.
