Tyler Frantz: Size matters for Pennsylvania’s wild trout

Sneaking along the shadows of towering hemlocks with a 3-weight fly-rod in hand, the cool mist of a favorite wild trout stream cuts the heat of a sultry summer day.
Dappled sunlight dances through swaying tree branches onto moss covered rocks. Mountain birdsong harmonizes with the therapeutic murmur of trickling water. The entire scene is the definition of pristine serenity.
