The signs of spring are clear and obvious. Flowers have popped, trees are leafing out, and my woodshed is nearly empty. After what felt like a never-ending winter, my ears are now greeted by the welcomed sound of spring peepers on the farm pond, accompanied by the racket of nesting waterfowl and sky-dancing woodcocks at dusk. It’s truly a beautiful thing.
