Polaris, Inc., recently announced plans to permanently close its manufacturing facility in the Polk County, Wis., town of Osceola by the end of 2026.
Located less than an hour from the Twin Cities and nestled in the bluffs of the Saint Croix River Valley, Osceola was founded in 1844. The community of 2,600 people has established industrial and airport business parks and now faces the loss of 200 jobs.
