A state legislator who has long been vocal on hunting and fishing issues and who has been a thorn in the side of the Pennsylvania Game Commission confirmed he will not seek re-election at the end of this year.
Berks County Republican Dave Maloney, who has served in the House since 2010 and was the minority chair of the Game and Fisheries Committee, said his decision not to run for a ninth term was based on his desire to leave a “corrupt” political system.
