New motorized usage program for disabled access on state lands developing in New York

The public comment deadline for The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s draft Commissioner Policy to guide the future use of Other Power-Driven Mobility Devices (OPDMDs) on DEC-managed lands is March 9.
DEC said the draft policy will take the place of Commissioner Policy 3 (CP-3), Motorized Access Program for People with Disabilities, and CP-3 will no longer be in effect.
