The article in a recent issue of Pennsylvania Outdoor News about deer feeders in the Northern Tier brought back good memories of my first job with the Bureau of Forestry.
For many years, most employees started with seasonal or temporary positions. It was my good fortune to start as supervisor of a group of young adults doing numerous jobs around the quarter-million-acre Susquehannock State Forest.
