In 2025, the USDA- Wildlife Services verified wolf damage at 76 different locations and received a total of 185 complaints – down from 252 complaints in 2024. While last year’s total declined from 2024, the 2025 tally more closely aligns with the 10-year average of 188 complaints per year.
Similarly in line with the 10-year average, about 55% of the past year’s complaints were verified by the wildlife services’ team.
