The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is proposing to move the closing date of fishing seasons for walleyes, northern pike, chain pickerel and tiger muskellunge from March 15 to March 1.
The proposal is among a list of changes the agency seeks to make that also includes the following changes to certain special regulations.
