Steve Piatt: Back to the challenge of hunting a big-woods buck

Our 16 years in the Adirondacks came to a close in 2013 when we returned to the flatlands of the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania, straddling the state line and often hunting both sides of the border on the same day.
Our time in the Adirondacks was memorable, and there’s a lot we still miss today.
