Following intense discussion, multiple changes to the coyote hunting and trapping season, and a lawsuit against the state Natural Resources Commission by two of the state’s conservation clubs, the Michigan NRC voted to approve updated coyote regulations at its meeting Jan. 14 in Lansing.
