The tick problem described by Tom Venesky in his recent column is one I’ve dealt with for many years, both as a hunter and as a forester.
In the late ‘90s, I was at my oldest son’s place in Michigan. We were in the woods in the summer in short sleeves, and my son (Keto) said “Dad, did you know you have a bull’s-eye on your arm?”
I did not.
