Three waterways are in the running for Pennsylvania 2026 River of the Year, and the public gets to choose which will win.
The Conestoga River, Chillisquaque Creek, and the lower Schuylkill River have been nominated in a competition annually sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources since 1983 and administered by Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers.
