Steve Piatt: The stay-at-home hunter

It is Saturday, Dec. 6, 7:15 a.m., the second Saturday of Pennsylvania’s firearms deer season.
My wife, Paula, has been settled into her tree stand for the past hour as she looks to connect on a buck or fill another antlerless deer tag for Wildlife Management Unit 3C. I am at home, doing laundry. We arrived at this situation through a series of events.
