Les Winkeler: It’s been a good year of long walks, talks with Milo

Although my wife and I are approaching the age where buying green bananas is considered speculative, we decided to bring a puppy into our home in late summer of 2023.
Since golden retrievers have had a place in our home, and hearts, almost continuously since the mid-1990s, there was no question as to what the breed would be. So, in August of 2023, Milo entered our lives.
