State Roundup: George Meyer will be missed by Wisconsin outdoor enthusiasts

Former Wisconsin DNR secretary and Wisconsin Wildlife Federation executive director George Meyer, 78, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, in Madison.

George Meyer is going to be sorely missed by all of us who enjoy and appreciate Wisconsin’s natural resources. His list of accomplishments and contributions is long and distinguished and most of us are well aware of George’s work, so I’m not going to review that list here.
