The holiday season is well underway as this print issue of Pennsylvania Outdoor News appears in mailboxes and on newsstands.
Dedicated subscribers since this publication’s launch more than two decades ago, I can’t express exactly how many presents enveloped by past issues of Outdoor News have graced the floor space beneath our Frantz family Christmas trees through the years, but the number is more than a few. While my mom diligently gift wraps each of her four children’s presents in matching and personalized holiday paper, my father is a notorious newspaper wrapper.
