Steve Carney: Coming upon a crash site, and a fishing tip

A number of years ago at about this time in December, I was in far western Minnesota, spending the day predator hunting with then-Outdoor News editor Dave Greer.
We were tooling down a rural gravel road while glassing drainage ditches when we came over a rise and couldn’t believe our eyes. We’d come upon a horrific traffic accident that had just happened.
