November has become a popular time for anglers to still be out on Lake Erie plying their hobby. In recent years, thousands of anglers have been seeking fame and fortune fishing for “the big one” in two major walleye derbies, which concluded on Nov. 30.
However, this has been one of the windiest fall boating seasons in recent memory, with conditions unsuitable for boating, especially in smaller vessels.
