A 26-year-old Amish man died after being shot by a member of his hunting party in Pennsylvania’s Juniata County Dec. 2 in terrain and weather that made emergency response difficult.
Floyd S. Wengerd, of Guys Mills, Crawford County, was shot during a deer drive involving 24 hunters in Milford Township and died three hours later in a Mifflin County hospital after a harrowing mountain rescue.
