Sam Gordy’s Slough on Pool 6 of the Upper Mississippi River ‘open for business’ after timely project

Sediment blocking the movement of well oxygenated water into one of the Mississippi River’s deeper sloughs – and threatening fish survival – brought about a multi-agency restoration effort that came in under budget while restoring flow to Sam Gordy’s Slough on Wisconsin’s Pool 6 shores in Buffalo County.
