Susquehanna River islands offer novel hunting in Pennsylvania

Part of the adventure is just getting there. This was a slogan coined on some long-ago TV commercial, but it can apply to those who hunt the islands of the lower Susquehanna River.
Navigating the often shallow water is bad enough in the daylight, but doing so under the cover of darkness to get to a spot prior to shooting light can be nail biting to say the least.
