When you’re done cleaning a limit of Lake Erie walleyes, when you feel stuffed and can’t handle another slice of pizza, and are tired of the Put-in-Bay pub scene, there’s another possibility.
Take a walk on the wild side with a stroll at one of Put-in-Bay Township Park District’s 33 units, most of which are open to the public. A number of them having unimproved trails, too. It is one of those “I didn’t know that” enlightenments to include that not all of the properties have a toehold strictly on South Bass Island.
