The only luck a trout fishing die-hard will have when the season opens
Oct. 18 will be to maybe land a carp dressed up for Halloween as a rainbow trout.
That’s because DNR’s semi-annual stocking of trout in selected lakes and ponds has been delayed due to unseasonable weather. Thus, the fall season will experience a slower than normal start.
