The Minnesota DNR reported last week the results of its annual small-game hunter survey, with pheasant harvest in 2024 increasing about 14% from a year ago, duck harvest decreasing about 14% from the previous season, and ruffed grouse harvest roughly the same as a season earlier.
The number of small-game hunters last year was down “slightly” from 2023, the DNR reported, and was 5% below the 10-year average.
