Wisconsin’s Brett Leable spreading word on free-dive fish spearing

“I always say if you like to hunt, and you like to fish, you will love spearfishing,” Brett Leable said. “It’s basically hunting while underwater.”
Leable, a member of the National Freshwater Spearfishing Association (NFSA) Board of Directors, spreads the gospel of spearfishing wherever he goes, saying it offers fun for people of all ages and skill levels. He hopes that by raising awareness and attracting new spearers, old tensions will fade into history and those who prefer coming face–to–face with their quarry can be more fully embraced by the sporting community.
