New York artist turns deer antlers into jewerly

An Otsego County mom has transpired her outdoor roots and favorite hobby into a small local and social media-based business. (Photo provided)

Anyone who has spent much time hunting or shed hunting knows that antlers come in a variety of shapes, sizes, textures, patterns, and shades. Each set is unique. Even each antler is unique.
Antler jewelry artist Krista Matteson, of Otsego County, N.Y., showcases that uniqueness in one-of-a-kind jewelry, where each piece is meticulously and thoughtfully designed.
