Quail and Upland Game Alliance to host clay shooting competition at Rend Lake in Illinois

The Quail and Upland Game Alliance works to promote the establishment, restoration and maintenance of quail and upland game habitat.

Whittington, Ill. — The Quail and Upland Game Alliance will host a sporting clays shooting competition Aug. 2 at the Rend Lake Shooting Complex in Illinois.

Youth age 16 and under will shoot for free, while cost for others will be $85 per shooter. The cost includes 100 targets, a full meal, and a $20 donation directly supporting QUGA’s conservation efforts.

The Rend Lake Shooting Complex is located at 17738 Conservation Lane in Whittington.

QUGA works to promote the establishment, restoration and maintenance of quail and upland game habitat. With the help of members, landowners and government grants, the organization makes full use of manpower, funds, materials, equipment and natural resources to improve habitat that boosts quail and all upland game populations.
