There are brook trout scattered throughout Minnesota, and much of the Upper Midwest. While you might assume that they’re prevalent in areas most known for trout fishing in general, that’s not always the case.
Native brookies are out there, finning away in cold, clean water. To find them, you’ll have to do a little sleuthing.
