Groups hail crucial Asian carp deterrent for the Great Lakes

With Illinois securing a 50-acre parcel, the Brandon Road Lock and Dam project can break ground, marking a major milestone in protecting the Great Lakes, its wildlife, and people from the destructive effects of Asian carp.
