Nature is loaded with not-quite eureka moments, little items of common things that most of us let simply pass by our view as uninteresting.
That is, of course, until a hint of sorts sets us on a voyage of discovery that reveals just how surprising common can be if we give it half a chance. While many anglers are driven by their interest in Ohio’s glorious and better-known plethora of noble species, I normally spend a portion of April, much of May, and a smidgeon of June chasing lesser fare.
