Tom Venesky: No reason to complain about Pennsylvania’s mentored trout day

When the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission created the Mentored Youth Trout Day in 2013, it was one of the best decisions the agency ever made.
Yet some still complain. The mentored event gives kids a single day all to themselves to fish for trout on the Saturday before the statewide season opener.
