Bob Haase, the ‘epitome of a Wisconsin sportsman,’ named 2025 Conservationist of the Year

It would take every page of the next three issues of this newspaper to fully tell readers of the contributions made to Wisconsin’s outdoor scene over the years by Bob Haase, recipient of the 2025 Wisconsin Outdoor News Conservationist of the Year Award.
We’ll do our best here to give you just a snapshot of Haase’s work. Well, he wouldn’t call it work, first of all, because he loves what he does for our outdoors and those who enjoy the same. Let’s hear from just a couple of people who know Bob Haase, 80, of Fond du Lac County.
