Although he couldn’t have known it as a child, growing up on Pennsylvania’s famed Yellow Breeches Creek sparked in G. Warren Elliott a lifelong interest in fisheries conservation.
The Pennsylvania citizen representative to the Chesapeake Bay Commission, who recently completed terms as Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission board president, and as vice-chair of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council, Elliott spent countless childhood hours exploring the creek and teaching himself to catch trout on doughballs, worms and a $5 fishing rod.
