Syracuse hosts New York’s state archery tournament as more than 550 students compete

The 15th annual New York National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament was held March 14 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. There, 558 students from 39 schools took part in the event, which is sponsored by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Students and their school teams competed in one of three divisions: High School, grades 9-12; Middle School, grades 6-8; and Elementary School, grades 4-5.
