Sea Grant modeling takes aim at predicting ice-out on Minnesota lakes

Following the March 3 fish house removal date for two-thirds of Minnesota, many anglers will have their eyes set on the open-water season and waiting for ice to crack up.
Coming back online with a few modifications, Minnesota Sea Grant’s Lakes Ice-Out Clock will help outdoor recreators and business owners better nail down when ice will clear off the lake they’re interested in.
