Tom Venesky: Timing of new CWD cases in Pennsylvania poses risk

Years ago, as chronic wasting disease was starting to spread across south-central Pennsylvania and northward, I asked a biologist friend if he thought the disease would ever turn up where I live in Luzerne County.
He said it’s not a matter of if, but when. Seven years later, it appeared.
