The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) approved statements of scope to start the process of drafting new hunting and fishing regulation questions to be presented at the 2025 spring hearings in April.
At the board’s Dec. 11 meeting, Scott Karel, DNR wildlife regulation policy specialist, explained that during the odd-numbered years the DNR presents proposed rule changes to coincide with the new legislative session.
