The Peshtigo DNR fisheries team ran a survey on High Falls Flowage in 2018 and found good numbers of game fish and panfish species.
Walleye numbers increased between 2010 and 2018, based on spring fyke netting and electrofishing catches. Netting catches increased from 1.0 walleye per net night in 2010 to 1½ walleyes in 2018. Electrofishing catches went from 3.9 walleyes per mile of shoreline in 2010 to 27.8 per mile in 2018.
