Any hunter with a few seasons under his or her belt knows that the odds of filling that buck tag drop like a rock as the closing bell nears. The pressure puts deer underground, where they tend to hole up until the woods clear out. That belief is partially rooted in reality, and partially a great excuse to not put in much effort.
