DEC, NDA discuss non-lead ammunition at webinar

In recent years, legislation has surfaced in New York, mainly seeking to ban the use of lead ammunition on public lands. Hurst explained that DEC’s policy is “this is your ammo and your choice,” a motto of the agency. He also sought to quell conspiracy theories that claim DEC seeks to impose a lead-ammunition ban.
