MN Daily Update: Big cat caught on camera

This animal appeared to be a healthy male. Most cougars traveling through Minnesota and the Great Lakes region are thought to be young, dispersing males. (Image courtesy of Voyageurswolfproject.org)

A big cat appeared in the Marion Lake-Franklin Lake area of the Superior National Forest south of VNP and about 15 miles east of Highway 53 last week. Here are the details.
