Pennsylvania will receive $1.2 million in federal funds aimed at bolstering numbers of the critically imperiled Eastern massasauga rattlesnake.
A grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be used by the Pennsylvania Game Commission to expand massasauga habitat in the snake’s historic range in the northwestern part of the state.
