Dan Ladd did a fine job reporting about the accomplishments of the late Bill Conners in the July 12 edition of the New York Outdoor News. Not only was Bill an accomplished outdoor writer, he was a conservationist and was associated with several conservation organizations.
His longest association was with the Dutchess County Federation, and as the article pointed out he was also active with the Conservation Fund Advisory Board, Fish and Wildlife Management Board, and Deer Search. I would like to offer a reflection on Bill’s work with the New York State Conservation Council.
