Picking the right fishing line color – video

“Tackle” Terry Tuma suggests using either a green monofilament line when fishing in cloudy water and either green or clear line when fishing in clear water. Fire line is good for aggressive fish with a good stretch factor. Flourocarbon line provides minimal stretch and is nearly invisible to fish.
