Nearly 2,000 students compete at New York state trap shoot

Participation was as solid as ever at the New York State High School Clay Target League’s State Tournaments held June 8-9 at the Bridgeport Gun Club in Cicero.
The premier event, the Trap Shooting State Tournament, featured 1,932 athletes from 133 high school teams. This followed a spring season that saw 2,867 student athletes representing 159 high school teams across the state.
